Energy Economics, Inc. Ships Pocket Gas Compliance System v2.0

Energy Economics, Inc. (EEI) today announced the availability of Version 2.0 of the Pocket Gas Compliance System (PGCS) product. This release adds five additional modules to the hand-held solution for tracking DOT 192 mandated regulatory compliance data. They are Atmospheric Corrosion, Leak Surveillance, Tools & Equipment, Exposed Pipe Examinations and Pipeline Patrol. Previously existing modules were Leak Tracking, Corrosion Tracking, Pressure Control Stations and Valve Maintenance.
EEI’s PGCS application is a suite of products that manage federal (DOT 192), state and local compliance regulations for natural gas utilities. In addition to the pocket (hand-held) based modules, the GCS product suite contains laptop and desktop modules for office application.
This release is another step in EEI's strategic plan to increase the functionality of its software products for its customers by envisioning the changing needs for the utility companies of the future.
